Flight Instruction
During my time as a Certified Flight Instructor at Delta Qualiflight, I’ve specialized in delivering Part 141 and Part 61 standardized training to a diverse and international student body. My role centers on preparing pilots not only to meet FAA checkride standards, but to think and act like safe, competent professionals in real-world flying scenarios.
A key part of my success has come from adapting my teaching approach to meet the needs of students for whom English is not a first language. This has required me to simplify technical concepts without losing accuracy, incorporate more visual and hands-on learning techniques, and ensure clarity and patience in high-stress or unfamiliar scenarios. These adjustments have helped students improve both their flying skills and their confidence in communicating effectively in the cockpit.
To bridge the gap between structured training and real-world readiness, I’ve incorporated scenario-based lessons that challenge students to apply risk management, decision-making, and CRM skills in dynamic environments. Whether working through simulated equipment failures or unplanned weather diversions, I’ve focused on building the kind of judgment and adaptability that professional flight operations demand.
This role has presented oppurtunities where I am constantly learning—from both my students and my colleagues. Every day presents the ability to refine my communication, strengthen my instructional techniques, and grow as both an educator and a pilot. It’s a rewarding position that continues to push me to improve—and one that deepens my passion for aviation education and leadership.
