Interactive Tools

The  Prognostic Chart Trainer is an interactive tool designed to help pilots and students build real weather intuition. You can move fronts and pressure systems across the map and see how realistic METARs respond in real time — along with a breakdown of exactly what's driving the conditions at each station. Place your own systems, experiment with different scenarios, and start connecting the dots between synoptic-scale weather and what's actually happening on the ground.

"VFR Sectional Chart Trainer is an interactive tool built to take the mystery out of reading a sectional. In 2D mode, you can tap any symbol on the chart to get a clear explanation of what it means and why it matters. Switch to 3D and the airspace comes to life, letting you visualize how the different classes and layers stack up in the real world. A quiz mode designed to test your chart reading skills in a practical, engaging way. Pilot Study Tools

If you spend enough time around a flight school, you'll hear a CFI say that flying isn't the hardest part of earning your license — the ground work and studying are. I built these tools to make that side of aviation a little easier, whether you're working toward your first certificate or staying sharp as a licensed pilot.

The PHAK Reader is a modern study tool built for student pilots who want more than a PDF. Read the full Pilot's Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge in a clean, distraction-free interface — with every section tied directly to the ACS so you always know what you're being tested on.

Highlight passages, take notes, bookmark pages, and search across the entire handbook in seconds. The built-in ACS reference shows exactly which knowledge areas, risk management topics, and skills each section covers — and links you straight to the relevant pages.

Whether you're studying for your written exam or preparing for your checkride oral, the PHAK Reader keeps everything in one place.

Currently in early access for Private Pilot students. Instrument and Commercial coming soon.
