May 2021 - August 2021, Bryan, Texas
Working at TxDOT’s Bryan District Laboratory provided me with my first hands-on experience in professional engineering. During this internship, I led a project focused on reclaiming and repurposing existing materials from FM 975. This involved developing a new pavement design, selecting appropriate materials through analysis, and conducting both field and laboratory tests to validate the design. In addition, I independently performed laboratory testing on various TxDOT projects to ensure that samples met state specifications and quality standards.
